Block of the Month

New Free block of the month from Bunny Hill! Love this designer. Hopefully I linked it correctly to go to her site. Also check out the Cosmo thread. She has a wonderful color selection.

Working on my "project" for EdS and reading lots of weird folktales that are not quite like I remember from my childhood. These are more true to the original ones and can see why some are "adapted" before giving to kids ;o) I think I would have been scared out of my wits if I read some of these as a kid. Although I might not have read into them as much as I am now.

I see that my friends had a great week at their sewing retreat and hope to go next year!!
They say more snow is on the way....yeah right. I will just wait and see. I guess the snowmen and lady above would like more ;o) k

  1. Will miss seeing you this weekend. Have a great weekend.

  2. Missed seeing you at Rally today! Do hope you were pleased with your presentation. Hope to see you soon!

  3. I agree about folktales being scary. It seems they were more for controlling children through fear rather than for entertaining them. Huh, with the way children are turning out these days, maybe we should go back to that. How about a tale about a school bus that will catch fire if children aren't talking quietly and sitting still? Just a thought.
