I decided to use some tools I have already for making flying geese...my Deb Tucker Wing Clipper.
I figured out the cut measurements if you would like to make your own.
For each block you will need a "star" fabric and a background fabric.
From the star fabric cut:
- 1 3 1/2" square
- 4 2 1/2" squares
From the background fabric cut:
- 1 4 1/2" square
- 4 2" squares
Turkey Red |
Follow the directions on the "ruler" for the finished size of 1 1/2" x 3" and presto you have a wonderful star block.
Here are mine so far:
Turkey Red 1 |
Turkey Red 2 |
Prussian Blue 1 |
Off to make my other Prussian blue and shirtings blocks from today's post on BB's Blog.
You are just too smart.
ReplyDeleteLove your fabrics! I am just about to start in on this one after trying to decide if I have too many quilts going on at once. Of course I do but what is one more. It will be fun to see if we have the same fabrics LOL!
ReplyDeletePS: I don't have your email address so can't respond back to your sweet comments.
